This Chardonnay comes from a vineyard in the Napa Valley's Carneros region, near the cooling influence of San Pablo Bay. Primary fermentation takes place in stainless steel, with sur lie ageing and 20% new French oak staves added afterwards. Malolactic fermentation is inhibited, allowing the vivid fruit flavours of this variety to show through while maintaining the wine's natural acidity.
90 Points - Wine Enthusiast Mango, guava and pineapple flavours rise to the fore of this light-bodied white, which offers just a hint of underlying butterscotch and crème brûlée. The oak is well behaved.
