Le Marquis de Calon Segur

This estate's Second Wine takes a distinct approach to the terroir of Calon. The First Wine, Château Calon Ségur Grand Cru Classé, is completely different from Le Marquis de Calon Ségur. Vincent Millet emphasizes, "It benefits from a true expression of its own. From the outset, the plots are segregated."

The immediate delight, warmth, and velvety richness of Le Marquis de Calon Ségur are all present. It is matured in oak barrels for 17 months on average, with a third of them being new. Its charm shines through, while the refinement of the Grand Vin comes to mind.
