Product description

Maria Victoria Montero founded Bodegas y Vinedos Verum in 2005, but her family has been making wine since 1788 in Castilla-La Mancha. Castilla-La Mancha is a wide, dry plain in central Spain that is famous for its Manchego cheese. Windmills dot the landscape, and Don Quixote, Miguel de Cervantes' legendary figure, calls it home.

The winery is located in Tomelloso, a village 125 miles south of Madrid with strong wine-culture traditions and customs. Maria Victoria and her family have always believed that wine is made in the vineyard, and their winery is built on that belief. La Posada is crafted from only the best grapes, many of which are over 50 years old, and the winery and vineyards reflect this. In the La Posada project, Verum successfully mixes modernity and history, boosting the quality standard of wines from La Mancha.
