Domaine de Beaurenard Beaurenard 'Boisrenard' Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc 2020

Product description

This wine symbolizes our love for white Châteauneuf-du-Pape. We find delicate floral notes, a fresh texture and crisp, juicy fruit with a saline finish. Just like a walk in our a Provencal garden.

93 Points - Jeb Dunnuck

Based on 30% Clairette, 25% Bourboulenc, 22% Roussanne, 20% Grenache Banc, and the rest tiny amounts of Picpoul Blanc and Picardan, it reveals a vivid light gold hue as well as classy notes of crushed citrus, pear, white flowers, and chalky minerality. It's clean, bright, medium-bodied, and beautifully balanced.

93 Points - Vinous

Swirling the glass reveals fragrant honeysuckle, jasmine, apple skin, lemon zest and pastry aromas. Medium to full-bodied, rich and neatly balanced by lively acids, it delights with a complex finish.

92 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

A classic tank-matured blend, led by the big four—Bourboulenc, Clairette, Grenache Blanc and Roussanne—and spiced up by the inclusion of tiny proportions of Picpoul Blanc and Picardan, plus a small barrel component, Beaurenard's 2020 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc is remarkably perfumed, with bold but refined notes of lime zest and white peaches on the nose. It's medium to full-bodied on the palate, plump and fleshy, but linear as well, with a strong beam of acidity and a long, zest-riddled finish.

92 Points - Wine Spectator

Enticing, with shortbread and creamed melon notes lined with light almond and heather accents. Caressing, verbena-tinted finish.

91 Points - James Suckling

A restrained style of white Chateauneuf, in spite of ample weight and vinous character. Delicate aromas of fresh nuts and dried lime peel.
