The wine was then aged in French oak barrels from DBR Lafite's own cooperage in the Pauillac region of Bordeaux.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAccording to Olivier Trégoat, Technical Director of DBR Lafite, the climate condition in 2018 in Qiushan Valley was very beneficial to the Cabernet Sauvignon vines planted on the hillside, leading to very high quality grapes.  \"We can say that this vintage is a big wine,” Trégoat said. “With strong yet elegant tannins, Long Dai 2018 shows a personality unique to the granite soils in Qiushan Valley, and that is what me and the team want to achieve,” he added.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLong Dai 2018 is described as having a deep colour, with ripe black fruit aromas and obvious spice signature.
