Terrazas de Serapia is a wine made from Grenache in Sierra de Gredos, planted at around 900 metres above sea level on sandy and granitic soils. After the manual harvest, the grapes are destemmed to ferment with native yeasts at a low temperature for several weeks. Before the fermentation starts, they go through cold maceration for three days. This wine is aged in 600-litre French oak barrels and cement deposits for 12 months. Terrazas de Serapia is a mature and rustic wine with a fresh finish. The aromas of ripe red fruit stand out, with light spicy notes. In the mouth, it is soft and enveloping.
