A heavier Valpolicella Classico with fruity notes of cooked red cherry and jam. Toasted aromas of chocolate and vanilla. Some hints of earthy notes like mushroom and cocoa as well. Dry, moderately warm, moderately smooth, very fresh with acids, moderately tannic and mineral. Pretty versatile to use for food pairings and has quite a long fruity finish. It could be left to age a little more to soften the acids and bring out more fruit aromas.
