Pearl Morissette Cabernet Franc Violette 2018

Explosively aromatic and spicy, this is a juicy Cabernet Franc, the likes of which we have not encountered before. Lilacs, violets and peppery spice whirl with a dervish zeal up and down the body of the wine. The palate buzzes with rousing energy, while caressing you with gentle fruit on a spiderweb of almost imperceptible tannins. A deep violet wine that tastes like a vinous ros e, this is an enticing summer charmer, from which, at least in our experience, it is impossible to drink only a glass or two.
