Penfolds Shiraz Magill Estate 2017
Deep, ruby with garnet edges. The nose displays intense varietal characters of plums and dark cherries, and fruitcake aromas alongside notes of dark chocolate and French oak. The palate shows delightful berry fruits that are wrapped up with fine, silky tannins that literally coat the whole mouth. The Magill is beautifully balanced with long lingering flavours.
95 Points - James Suckling
The acidity sits up in vibrant style and there’s a fine, succulent and long, refined finish.
