Beaulieu Vineyard Georges de Latour Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve 2020

Product description

Beaulieu Vineyard, established in 1900 in Napa Valley's Rutherford appellation, is renowned for its commitment to producing exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon wines. The Georges de Latour Private Reserve, first released in 1940, stands as the winery's flagship offering, exemplifying the pinnacle of their winemaking expertise.

Wine Description
The 2020 Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerhouse example of Beaulieu Vineyard's flagship wine. It presents an intense and fragrant bouquet of ripe, dark berries, grape compote, black cherry, orange peel, and black plum, alongside savory perfumed notes of wild violet, rose petal, fresh spearmint, Bay Laurel, and earth. The palate is full-bodied with firm tannins and a balanced acidity, leading to a long, complex finish. This wine is approachable now and will continue to develop complexity over the next 10+ years.

Food Pairing
This Cabernet Sauvignon pairs wonderfully with grilled tenderloin with a peppercorn sauce or black bean ragù with grilled portobello mushrooms.
