Shipping Policy

Order online and collect your bottles directly from our Calgary store with zero delivery fees. Orders are typically processed and ready for collection within 1–4 business days, and we’ll send you an email notification as soon as your items are packed.

To ensure that your order is released to you promptly and safely, please bring a valid government-issued photo ID and have your order confirmation email ready on your phone.

Enjoy direct delivery fulfilled by ZYN's own team using climate-managed transport straight from our Calgary vault. Our local delivery service covers Calgary, Airdrie, Banff, Canmore, Cochrane, and Okotoks. Orders to these areas are typically delivered within 1–4 business days after placement.

Because alcohol requires age verification, an adult of legal drinking age (18+) must be present to show a valid government-issued photo ID and sign for the order upon arrival.

For any deliveries outside of Calgary, we will use a courier. Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 3–14 business days.

While we can ship to most residential addresses and select rural locations, we strongly recommend using a business address for shipping to ensure a successful first delivery attempt.

Due to courier restrictions and adult signature laws, we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.

However, if you request delivery outside of Alberta, you authorize us to engage a shipper on your behalf to pick up your order from our store and deliver it as you instructed.

You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with the applicable laws of the place where you have directed the courier to deliver your order.

Shipping fine wine and spirits during extreme summer heat or severe winter cold carries inherent risks. To safeguard your order, we primarily partner with specialized carriers—such as ATS Healthcare—that utilize temperature-controlled vehicles.

If extreme weather conditions pose a risk to the structural integrity or quality of your bottles during transit, ZYN may briefly hold your shipment until conditions permit safe delivery.

ZYN takes every reasonable precaution to package your order for safe delivery, and virtually all packages are delivered intact. Shipping is not, however, risk free. Once we have packaged your order in accordance with our normal practices, and have delivered your package to the courier, our liability ends.

For your protection, every order is automatically insured to a maximum of $3.50 per pound of the scaled weight for breakage, damage or loss, regardless of the order value. Weight, though, may not be an adequate measure of value, depending on the order. We are therefore offering you the option of purchasing full protection for a fee, at the checkout page.

Note that claims for damaged or broken products must be made within 4 days of delivery. Lost packages will be dealt with on an individual basis.

ZYN mainly ships using ATS Healthcare and Canada Post. ATS offers delivery in temperature-controlled vehicles. ATS and Canada Post will deliver to a business or residential address. If possible, ZYN recommends shipping to a business address for the following reasons:
