The backbone of this wine comes from Cabernet Sauvignon grown on Pauli Ranch located in Mendocino county. This cooler climate region gives Cabernet Sauvignon fruit with depth, structure, dark fruit flavor and subtle, complex herb notes. In addition to Mendocino, perfectly ripened fruit from Napa Valley, Lake County and Alexander Valley compliments the final blend. These additional North Coast appellations bring bright fruit flavors, lush round tannins and good structure throughout.  

Exhibiting complex layers of cassis, black cherry, and tobacco that are balanced with hints of graphite and bitter cocoa nibs. This wine is full-bodied with a rich, smooth finish.
