This wine is basically the Edelzwicker from Oregon. Are you familiar with Edelzwicker? This Alsatian tradition basically incorporates all the major white grapes of the region into a catch-all, everything-but-the-kitchen-sink kind of blend. Well, Brooks has created a brilliant Oregon rendition. This is outwardly fruity a wine Oregon can produce without being sugary sweet: peaches, apricots, green apple, and sweet spice. Dry. But quite fruity. Mouthwateringly fruity. Farmed organically.
