Hibiscus red in the glass, this wine displays the classic bouquet of piquant Syrah. On the nose it has aromas of dried cranberries, cigar box, and cracked black pepper. Medium bodied with sinewy tannins, it has flavours of red plum, licorice, olive, and cured meat. The finish has a good amount of spice to it.
This wine is a strong companion for bold and meaty flavours. If you want to pair this wine with barbecued steak, adding Argentinian Chimichurri sauce (made of finely chopped parsley, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano and red wine vinegar) will nicely bring out its herbal qualities.
