The Folonari family has been making wine since the late eighteenth century. In 1825 the family-owned business took the name “Fratelli Folonari” and adopted the mission of developing, producing and distributing the finest Italian wines throughout the world.
92 Points- James Suckling
A juicy and flavourful red with lots of berry and cherry character. Full body and soft and round tannins, not to mention an abundance of ripe fruit.
90 Points - Wine Spectator
Tends toward the herbal side, with thyme and bell pepper flavours, but also delivers black cherry and blackberry notes. The tannins are firm, yet this is vibrant overall and lingers nicely. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Best from 2020 through 2029.
