Located in the small village of El Tambo near San Fernando, Casa Silva was originally founded by Emilio Bouchon of Bordeaux in 1982. In recent years, Mario Silva and winemaker Mario Geisse have raised the quality of the winery to the point where Casa Silva is now the most awarded Chilean winery of the 21st century.
Pair with baked salmon, steamed mussels w/ garlic, sea bass, and fresh salads. Great with soft white cheeses. Limpid yellow in colour. An attractive nose of tropical fruit with almonds, walnuts and hints of butter. Refreshing, crisp, and without oak and malolactic fermentation. Has a nice long finish.
