Pretty full red robe; black cherry, lively bouquet, comes with smoky bacon, marked cherry a little black tea darkness. The palate starts on a fruit-crunchy tannin combination, builds into a clearer black berry stretch before the tannins resume their chalky tight grip. There is a menthol cut on the finish. Upright, breezy wine of free length.
