I like the first impression of savoury, clove-stuck baked apple on the nose, broadening out into ripe red berries and milder, nutty, oak-induced spice. Medium-to-full bodied with the same mix of spice and fruit that envelops the tannins and provides a lengthy, flavourful finish. Rather a unique Barolo and fun to taste now, but definitely posed for some aging.
