Ramey Cabernet Sauvignon 'Annum' 2018

Product description

David Ramey is among a distinguished group of pioneering American vintners who revolutionized modern-day winemaking and elevated California to the forefront of the international wine community.

Aromatically the wine is has bright, ripe red fruits, dried herbs, pencil shavings and fine cocoa powder. The palate has layers of textured tannins, with notes of dried herbs and damp topsoil.

96 Points - Wine Enthusiast

A silky texture masks powerful black-fruit and dark-chocolate flavors in this full-bodied but elegant wine. From an aroma of black currants and blackberries it goes to rich, chocolaty, toasty and savory flavors interlaced with fine, powdery tannins.

93 Points - Wine Spectator

A plush, fleshy style, with a bittersweet cocoa powder edge around a core of blackberry and black cherry reduction. Reveals black licorice, roasted alder and bay leaf accents that fill in throughout, with a nice tug of earth through the finish.
