This is a finely structured wine with elegance. Cherry, cranberry, and raspberry aromas burst forth first on the nose. To the forward, fresh fruit smells, layers of spice, black currant, and leather add complexity. The fruit-forward aspect of the palate is supported by flavours of spice, well-integrated toasted wood, and silky tannins throughout the long finish.
