"From estate vineyards on Black Sage Road and Naramata Ranch, this wine was primarily fermented in stainless, with 11% fermented in French oak (2% new). The balance is nailed this year, with orchard fruit nicely offset by a firm but neutral wood structure, and atop a fine but comfortable bed of lees. There's a seasoning of desert sagebrush and anise that lingers on the finish. Bright, fresh, full of typicity, but not dumbed down. Well done." - Anthony Gismondi
