Chateau Montifaud Vintage 2002

Product description

The young Augustin, the family’s first generation of winemakers, established the Chateau Montifaud winery in 1837 and today, Laurent, the sixth generation, is the one running it. The vineyards are located in two well-known Cognac regions, on an area covering 130 hectares of vines.

This cognac has a golden yellow color. It is dry, well balanced, with a nice structure. On the nose you'll find aromas of leather, clove and undergrowth as well as notes of licorice. On the palate, this cognac expresses itself through aromas of vanilla and cocoa. Its great finesse and its dried flower scents give it a very interesting length.
