The first copper distillery to launch in London for nearly 200 years, on a mission to bring the art of uncompromising, small-batch gin distillation back to the capital where it all began. The result is sublimely sippable (and award-winning) spirits that are incredibly smooth, full of character and has an authentic intensity of flavour.
The Brits tend to cling to convention, and when it comes to producing gin, they followed a ruling set in 1823 decreeing it impossible for anyone to get a distilling licence for anything less than 1,800 litres. In 2008, the Sipsmith lads petitioned successfully to allow smaller distillers to get in on the act. This is classic London dry gin. The juniper is upfront, followed by smooth citrus notes. Martini and G & T compatible.
