Gordon & Macphail Mortlach 1999 Cask Strength

Distilled over 18 years ago at the Mortlach distillery in Dufftown, this new release comes from Gordon & MacPhail, Scotland's famous independent bottlers of the distillery. Filled into a first-fill bourbon barrel in 1999, this Mortlach is beautifully fragrant and sweet, carrying a light and complex flavours that run from vanilla pod to ripe melon and other tropical fruit scents. The palate builds from a cream butterscotch note to stewed or baked apples, melon again and a zing of lime.
