The fruit is simply delicious, crisp, acidic, and full of cherry notes. It's a red that beautifully expresses its origin. A mountain wine with red fruit notes and herbs and spices, too. The texture seems to grip the palate powerfully as if it won't let go until it gets a nice big piece of grilled beef.
