The 2019 La Pensee displays a deep garnet-purple colour and notions of blackberry pie, baking spices, warm plums and boysenberries with touches of woodsmoke, cracked black pepper and wilted roses. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a racy line lifting the densely packed black fruits, supported by ripe, rounded tannins, finishing savoury.
