Produced by the famed Sherwood Estate, the Stratum Sauvignon Blanc is made from grapes grown in the Waipara Valley in the heart of Marlborough and from some estates in Waipara further south on the South Island's east coast. Harvested in the cool of the night to protect the grapes, the fruit was cool fermented over the course of four weeks to retain freshness and aromatic fruit characteristics. Sherwood Estate focuses on quality and value. Their wines are made to be enjoyed on any occasion from picking up a great bottle to enjoy with friends, to something a little more refined for a special occasion.
