Product description

Mike and Gary Hogue developed Hogue Cellars in 1982 in Eastern Washington's Columbia Valley, the state's top grape growing region. The Columbia Valley's climate and soils produce grapes with strong fruit flavours and high natural acidity. The wines are lively, with rich, zesty fruit flavours that pair well with a wide variety of foods.

Eastern Washington has sunny summer days followed by chilly nights during the grape growing season, ensuring that grapes ripen fully while preserving plenty of natural acidity. Washington Riesling's signature apricot and tangerine characteristics come from even ripening. The scents of apricot, peach, melon, lemon-lime, and honey trickle through our Riesling. With a delightful mineral edge and crisp, refreshing acidity, the flavours are a delicate combination of apricot and tangerine. This wine, which is slightly sweet, goes well with fresh spring rolls, spicy ahi curries, and grilled halibut. Rieslings, unlike many other white wines, can age and acquire depth. If stored properly, this vintage will continue to thrill for three to five years.
