The palate is plush followed by a crescendo of tannins that whisk the wine on a long journey over the palate. Here stands the iron fist in a velvet glove. Savoury tannins build on a long, spicy, and complete mouthful of flavours. Despite the power and full-throttle fruit, this wine retains an elegance and nobility often talked about though rarely seen.
