Our Blanc de Noirs is predominantly made from hand-harvested Carneros Pinot Noir grapes, the hallmarks of which are a vibrant red fruit character. The creamy palate and rosy hue are a result of a small addition of Vin Gris, which is blended into the base Cuvée. Over 40 different clones and selections of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are planted on our 335-acre estate in the Sonoma Carneros district. This allows us to consistently produce top-rated California Cuvées with complexity and clear fruit expression.
Create outstanding pairings with crab, Thai cuisine, roasted pork, quail, foie gras, or semisweet deserts. Seasoning affinities include star anise, plum sauce, and tarragon. For a cheese course, look to triple-aged Gouda or hard aged cheeses with persimmons and hazelnuts.
90 Points - Wine & Spirits This isn’t complex, but something about its sweet, sunny fruit and gentle precision feels properly Californian. The texture is soft and polished, lasting on a clean chamomile scent that will keep you coming back for more.
90 Points - Wine Enthusiast Pinot Noir-based, this is light-pink in color and full of rich round flavors of strawberry and peach. Likably lush and moderate in acidity, it is dry with vanilla undertones that boost the fruit.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate The NV Blanc de Noirs is very, very blush-pink in color and scented of spiced apples, white peaches and lightly browned toast with hints of honeysuckle and white pepper. The palate has a good intensity of apple and toast-inspired flavors with appealing freshness and persistent fizz.
Wine Spectator Floral strawberry and watermelon aromas lead to creamy and festive flavors that linger with a sweet note.
