Sourced from the cool climate areas of Coombsville and the hillside vineyards southeast of Napa from lots selected for their rich fruit balanced by excellent structure. Finely grained tannins that produce a silky, supple wine. Post-alcoholic maceration of only six to eight days that promotes unmasked varietal character
From its first vintage in 2002, Coho has championed cooler climate Cabernet family grapes grown in Coombsville. They loved the richness and elegance of the wines. In 2015 they began sourcing from the hillside vineyards further south, along the eastern approaches to the city of Napa. Their "SoNa" blend brings these newer, dynamic growing areas to the forefront of the exciting future of Napa Valley wine.
