Ink-like, purple-black hue: Aromas of cassis, tobacco, vanilla, coffee-liqueur and lead-pencil shavings; give way to a smooth entry and intense flavors of dark currants, black plums, rich mocha, leather and black spice with a purity of fruit and impressive structure; velvet tannins and a full mid-palate matches a long lingering finish. Synchrony is great with lamb, duck and venison.
