General Information
The Miquel family has owned this estate since 1791, a year in which the French Revolution was in full swing, also the year Washington, DC was named after then President George Washington. Blessed with generations of winemaking experience, the family described their intimate knowledge of the vineyards akin to having the terroirs at their fingertips. Their wines are of numerous varieties, and they were cited in 2010 for "Best Viognier in the World." This entry-level Viognier has an aromatic nose of white flowers, violets, and honeysuckle. Fresh and crisp on the palate, with flavours of apricot and peach. This is a great everyday fridge wine to be sipped on its own or with grilled fish and Chinese takeout.
