Glenfarclas Family Cask 1996 (Cask 852) Summer Release 2022

Multi-award winning Glenfarclas Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky has been distilled on Speyside for six generations by one family – the Grants. The Glenfarclas Distillery was legally established in 1836, on the Recherlich Farm at Ballindalloch, in the heart of Speyside. In 1865, John Grant purchased the distillery for £511. Situated in the heart of Speyside – malt whisky country – Glenfarclas, translated from the Gaelic as “Glen of the green grassland”, nestles at the foot of the Ben Rinnes mountain.

This addition to the Summer 2022 release of Glenfarclas's The Family Cask series is a spectacular Highland single malt that was distilled in 1996. The whisky matured in a fourth-fill butt, with an outturn of only 582 bottles at 55.4% ABV.
