Amplus Chardonnay belongs to the Premium line of Viña Santa Ema. These origin wines are complex and sophisticated, and come from the best terroirs in Chile.
Amplus Chardonnay Leyda Valley is intensely golden-yellow in color, and bright. The aromas show intense citrus notes with tropical fruit like banana, quince, and pineapple that entwine with subtle toasted notes from the oak, giving the wine great complexity. On the palate the wine is rounded and lush, well balanced by the acidity that refreshes from beginning to end. This Chardonnay is perfect to serve with lobster, king crab, shrimp, or shellfish au gratin.
