Product description

Introduction

Wild Rose Industrial Park Ale is brewed by Wild Rose Brewery in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Founded in 1996 by entrepreneurs Mike Tymchuk and Alan Yule, the brewery initially operated out of Calgary's Foothills Industrial Park before moving its taproom to a historic military hangar at Currie Barracks. The brewery is celebrated for its authentic roots and its role as a pioneer in the Alberta craft beer scene.

Beer Description

This American style India Pale Ale (IPA) presents a beautiful copper colour. The sensory profile is characterized by a rich caramel malt aroma that is perfectly balanced with plenty of hops. On the palate, the beer delivers a time honoured recipe where the hops and malt are well integrated, offering a satisfying and full flavoured experience. It is medium bodied and handcrafted specifically for the true ale drinker, providing a robust and industrious character. The brew is crafted with high quality malts and features an alcohol content of 6% ABV with a bitterness of 60 IBU. There is no indication that this beer is organic.

Food Pairing

The balanced bitterness and caramel malt profile of this IPA make it an excellent companion for various savoury and spicy dishes. It pairs particularly well with grilled meats such as beef burgers, steaks, or spicy sausages, as the hop bitterness cuts through the richness of the protein. Its coppery malt character also complements spicy fare, including Mexican tacos or Thai cuisine, where the caramel notes help balance the heat. For casual snacks, it is a classic match for warm salted pretzels or bold, sharp cheeses.
