Hailing from the top climat from Meursault, their Grands Charrons looks like a compelling buy. From vines of 25-60 years old, the grapes were fermented and aged in demi-muids on lees for 12 months. The resulting wine is an absolute head-turner that possesses a “chewy/mealy texture” and delivers “inviting salty/ citrus aromas”. With an immense length in the finish.
This wine has a brilliant golden colour with silvery reflections. On the nose, a very fine floral note with a touch of vanilla. Dense and rich, with a finish of freshness and elegance.
