The Nebbiolo grapes for this wine are sourced exclusively from the Cesare family’s own vineyards: the famous “Il Bricco” Estate and the great hill of San Stefanetto, both located in the village of Treiso. One third of the wine was aged in French oak botti and barriques (one third new) for 30 months. The remainder spent three years in large French oak casks.
A very classic Barbaresco, this is an elegant wine with ripe, spicy fruit and great depth and complexity. The gentle tannins show finesse, but make no mistake: this is a Barbaresco with structure and opulence. It shows very long ageing potential.

Very fine and polished with plum, strawberry and cedar aromas as well as an iodine, sea shell and chocolate undertone. Medium body, ultra-fine tannins and a beautiful finish. It’s poised and gorgeous. Such brightness and finesse with structure.
