Arran Malt Rare Batch Calvados Cask 17 Year Old

Arran was an early adopter of cask finishes. Just 8 years after starting production, the distillery released its first limited-edition Calvados Cask Finish expression. The Arran 17 Years Old Rare Batch Calvados Cask Edition takes it a step further: this rare single malt was fully aged in casks previously used to mature Calvados. These casks were sourced from a producer in the Pont-l’Eveque region of Normandy. 

Apple turnovers, vanilla bean pudding and Fry's cocoa powder on the nose. The mouthfeel is creamy with orchard apples, vanilla fudge, milk chocolates with raspberry centres on the palate.
