It presents an opaque, almost black violet color. In the nose it shows intense aromas with hints of ripe red fruit, plum, blackcurrant, black pepper and hints of candied fruit and jam. It has subtle notes of chocolate, coffee and walnut thanks to a long aging in French oak barrels. On the palate it is velvety in style, with soft and rounded tannins and notes of blackberry, spices and truffle that provide an aromatic complexity with an exquisite finish.
This wine is ideal for paired with meats roasted with sauces, cheese and chocolate desserts. It has a potential for 8-10 years aging in correct storage conditions.
