Mirafiore Barbera d'Alba Superiore 2016

The soil is typical of Serralunga d'Alba, rich in microelements; therefore, these vineyards originate wines that express great character, with pronounced acidity and flavour. The colour is dark ruby-red with purple highlights, and the nose is brimming over with leather, black licorice, coffee and blackberry. This Barbera d'Alba starts out on the palate providing a warm feeling of volume and body, with the fruit blending marvellously with the soft tannins and the acidity. At the same time, its finish is long and savoury.

This wine is perfect with pasta, meat dishes, and fresh and medium-aged cheeses.
