Located just below the Castello of Barolo itself, this property was basically unknown outside the local area until Amabile Drocco brought the estate in 1999 and began modernization. Now one of Barolo’s upcoming superstar wineries, the wine from Cascina Adelaide has received many accolades including multiple above 90-point ratings in The Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast, 91 points for the Barolo Preda in Veronelli, and was winner of 5 stars in Decanter Magazine.Brilliant yellow tones with a green hint.

Aromatics of pineapple, melon, orange blossom, mango peel and honey.  It's unique minerality and acidity elevate the citrus notes and gives the wine a long life, unusual for a Piedmonte white.
