At this point (2024) we know the price of the wine, but we do not know the cost of the product registration, recycling costs, freight costs, insurance costs, and potential storage fees. In past years, all these costs accounted for approximately $20 - $30 per bottle. In other words, at the time of delivery (2026), we will calculate all the charges due before the wine is released. GST will also be charged before delivery.

The 2026 Futures Campaign will close on August 7th, 2024. If you see a wine you want to purchase, please place the order as soon as possible. It does not matter if you place multiple orders. Do not wait until the last minute, as some wines may sell out.

If you have any questions, please call David at 403.543.8900.

Product description

This wine will be delivered after the Spring of 2026.

The story of Peymouton began before the last classification of the Saint-Emilion appellation in 1996. On the 61 hectares planted with vines that belong to the estate, plots have been selected separately, in strict conformity with the requirements of its rank.

Chateau Peymouton is located on high plateau parcels of the estate (80-100 meters in altitude) that are composed in part of a thin layer of rich clay over limestone, and partly of deep, thick red clay. These soils contribute density and structure to the wine that nonetheless retains the elegance imparted by the limestone.

91+ Points - James Suckling

A juicy and crunchy red with blackberry, blueberry and chocolate aromas and flavors. Medium body, firm and silky tannins and a fresh finish.

90+ Points - Vinous

The 2023 Peymouton is a lovely Saint-Emilion to drink over the near and medium term. It offers pretty, forward forward fruit in a soft, juicy style that is quite appealing. Hints of tobacco, cedar, leather and spice meld into a core of supple, red-toned fruit in this charming 2023.
