This is the second label from the Dillon family, owners of Haut-Brion, La Mission Haut-Brion and Quintus. Prince Robert of Luxembourg started it to honour his great-grandfather Clarence Dillon, founder of the family dynasty.
Semillon is roughly 48%, Sauvignon Blanc 42%, and Muscadelle is 10%. This wine's high percentage of Semillon gives it a unique body and character. Without adding oaky smells or flavours, a little barrel age improves the palate. Exotic white and citrus fruits mingle with linden and acacia floral notes in this intense and multifaceted nose. Rich, generous, expansive, and very fruity on the palate, with excellent tension.
