Cockburn's Late Bottled Vintage Port 2013

This Late Bottled Vintage Port is sourced from the same vineyards that produce Cockburn’s famed Vintage Ports, namely the company’s own Quinta dos Canais and Quinta do Vale Coelho properties, both located in the remote Douro Superior subregion.

Deep garnet with a slightly fading red rim.  On the nose, there are distinctive, candied red fruit aromas; raspberries and red cherries — a typical feature of wines sourced from the Canais vineyard. On the palate the wine reveals a lovely, graceful balance; the ripe, raspberry/strawberry flavours combine with schist tannins which underpin the structure and provide a lively, fresh finish.
