Distinctive lifted fresh Sauvignon fruit purity, aromas of fragrant gooseberries, herbaceous Thai basil and just cut green grass as well as complex hints of white roses and even a little spruce. High impact and mouth-filling with more zingy gooseberry fruit and fresh layers of mineral like flavor in the middle palate before a long zesty citrus tinged, juicy fruit finish. Drink now. With a zesty nose, three dimensional and refreshing palate, this wine is delicious either served moderately chilled with a second glass, second bottle even as an aperitif, or with seafood. The result is a pure expression of fruit - a style that is somewhere between Casablanca Valley (Chile) and Marlborough (New Zealand). High-pitched aromas of lime pith, white pepper, green tea and mint. Bright and sharply delineated, with good floral lift to its bitter lime, grapefruit and herb flavors. Tight, dry and light on its feet but there's good depth here.
