A refined and elegant Bourgogne Pinot Noir from a 60-year-old vineyard, facing south. Hand-picked grapes aged for 1 year in oak barrels. Deep red with a gorgeous ruby hue. Flamboyant and dense. Rich aromas of black cherry jam, dark chocolate, smoky spice, and earthy oak, layered and complex. The attack is generously textured with a good weight dominated by blackberry and licorice with notes of spice. Silky tannins and a lovely, lingering finish.
