Glenfarclas Family Cask 2001 (Cask 3383) Summer Release 2022

Multi-award winning Glenfarclas Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky has been distilled on Speyside for six generations by one family – the Grants. The Glenfarclas Distillery was legally established in 1836, on the Recherlich Farm at Ballindalloch, in the heart of Speyside. In 1865, John Grant purchased the distillery for £511. Situated in the heart of Speyside – malt whisky country – Glenfarclas, translated from the Gaelic as “Glen of the green grassland”, nestles at the foot of the Ben Rinnes mountain.

Distilled at Glenfarclas in 2001, this single malt makes a splendid addition to the Summer 2022 installment of the distillery's Family Cask collection. The whisky matured in a single cask until July 2022, yielding a total of 374 bottles.
