La Croix de Pez

Product description

With a surface area of 1370 hectares, Saint-Estèphe is one of the Médoc's greatest communal appellations. The vines are protected from excessive humidity by being planted on well-drained gravel outcrops. The wines' distinct personality comes from the subsoil, which is made mainly of clay and limestone. The wines of Saint-Estèphe are tannic, deep, and robust, and they develop body, fruitiness, and delicacy with age.

Attractive deep red colour. Nose of ripe fruit, slightly spicy, fine. Full on the palate, fruity, with well-integrated tannins.
