Quevedo 50 Year Old Colheita Port 1968

This Tawny Port from the 1968 harvest was produced by our grandparents and nurtured for 3 generations in our cellars. A limited quantity from our family reserve was bottled. It represents the apex of Tawny Port aging in our cellar.

Bright fawn color with consistent tone from center to the edge, showing good saturation for such an old Port.  The nose is intense and precise, displaying a complex range of aromas, from honey, candied citrus peel, marmalade, all spices, tobacco and touch of smokiness.

The wine enters smoothly but rapidly the acidity kicks in to provide ideal balance and support for the lingering crême brulée notes. This Port makes you keep asking for more!
